Hans left Susan and travelled to the U.S to study without telling Susan that he was traveling or even dropping a note for Her. Ni-ki happens to be the cousin of Hans and Susan's first Love. Ni-ki also had a crush on Susan but hid it to himself so he wouldn't destroy their beautiful Friendship.
